Dipanjyoti Paul is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Institute of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Japan. He is also a member of the Center for Artificial Intelligence Research (C-AIR). Additionally, he holds an affiliation as a Visiting Scientist in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at The Ohio State University, USA. Previously, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Imageomics Institute within the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at The Ohio State University, USA. Dipanjyoti Paul earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India. Dipanjyoti Paul's research spans various domains, focusing on the intersection of biology and machine learning, explainable AI, computer vision, streaming data, real-time summarization, among others. He has contributed to numerous journals and conferences, including ICLR, Knowledge-Based Systems, Pattern Recognition, Expert Systems with Applications, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, Pattern Recognition Letters, ACM Transactions on Knowledge Discovery from Data, and more.
