I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Institute of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, and a member of the Center for Artificial Intelligence Research (C-AIR). I am also a Visiting Scientist with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Imageomics Institute at The Ohio State University.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Imageomics Institute, The Ohio State University. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, where my thesis focused on advanced machine-learning algorithms for streaming data.
My research sits at the intersection of machine learning and biology, with interests in computer vision, imageomics, explainable AI, AI for health, streaming data, real-time summarization, and foundation models.
